Better support for clinicians creates more consistent support for schools
Behavior and mental health support is directly connected to student learning, and it's some of the most demanding work in a school building. It takes deep clinical skill, real collaboration with school teams, and the ability to adapt to the everyday realities of a classroom, which is exactly why it's so hard for districts to staff.
Lakeshore Behavior Consulting was built to change that. Too many talented clinicians leave school-based work because they don't have the mentorship or support required to sustain it, and students lose that support right when they need it most. That's why we focus exclusively on behavior and mental health, so we can give our clinicians the depth of support this work requires, and your district gets clinicians who are prepared to succeed.

Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is committed to delivering high-quality behavior and mental health services to the schools we partner with, and taking care of the people who deliver those services. These commitments go hand in hand. When clinicians have experienced leadership, ongoing mentorship, and a team they can turn to, they're better prepared to navigate challenging situations, collaborate with school staff, and provide consistent services throughout the school year.
For Districts
Specialized expertise in behavior and mental health. That focus means deeper mentorship and support for every clinician we place.
Strong understanding of the IEP process. Our clinicians understand timelines, documentation, and service minutes, and know how to support your special education team.
Clinicians who collaborate as well as they treat. Strong clinical skills only go so far if someone can't work well with teachers and school teams. We look for both.
For Clinicians
Led by someone who's worked in schools. Our leadership has hands-on, school-based experience, so mentorship covers what our clinicians need all school year long.
Fair pay and real benefits. We take care of our clinicians, so they can focus on what matters most: providing the highest quality of care to students.
A team, not a caseload in isolation. Our clinicians work alongside a group of experienced peers, with real space to talk through hard cases instead of carrying them alone.
