Lakeshore Behavior Consulting provides contracted behavioral and mental health staffing for K-12 public school districts and special education cooperatives across Illinois, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
HOW WE SUPPORT YOUR DISTRICT
Lakeshore Behavior Consulting provides school districts with the qualified clinicians they need to support students with behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health needs. Whether your district needs temporary support to fill an immediate gap or long-term staffing to help build internal program capacity, we structure our contracts around what actually works for your team. Our clinicians work within your existing systems, communicate with your team, and adapt to the needs of each building.
We staff positions on a contracted basis, structured around what your district needs:
Multi-year contracts for districts looking for long-term staffing stability
Year-to-year contracts for districts with evolving or short-term needs
Full-time or part-time placements, depending on caseload
Every placement includes clinical oversight from our leadership team, and we stay involved for the length of the contract. All clinicians are background-checked, fingerprinted, and covered by liability insurance before starting in your school.

What Can Lakeshore Do for Schools?
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
We utilize evidence-based interventions and strategies to help students with challenging behaviors or social skill deficits. Our BCBAs conduct assessments, develop individualized behavior plans, and work closely with educators and families to provide ongoing support.
School Psychologists
Our school psychologists conduct evaluations, support eligibility determinations, and contribute to student planning, helping your team make informed, timely decisions for students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
Our RBTs implement behavior plans consistently, day to day, under BCBA supervision — giving students the steady, hands-on support they need to build new skills and generalize them across the school day.
School Social Workers
Our social workers support students' social-emotional needs while coordinating with families and community resources, helping to bridge the gap between home, school, and the broader support systems students rely on.
