A School-Based Career That Lasts
At Lakeshore Behavior Consulting, we believe the best support for schools starts with real support for the professionals providing it. We are a clinician-owned company committed to helping behavioral and mental health professionals do meaningful, high-quality work in the schools and communities they serve.
Our team is built around mentorship, collaboration, and connection. We want our clinicians to feel valued, heard, and supported throughout the school year, so they can bring their best to students, teachers, families, and school teams. If you are looking for a place where your skills are respected, your ideas matter, and you do not have to carry the work alone, you are in the right place.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to practice ABA outside of a clinic setting and be part of a school community?
At Lakeshore Behavior Consulting, our BCBAs work in local schools supporting students where they learn every day. In this role, you’ll conduct assessments, develop behavior plans, attend meetings, provide staff coaching, and collaborate closely with school teams. This is a school-based role where your work is integrated into the school day and the school team.
What We’re Looking For
We’re a team with a mix of experience and backgrounds, and we value that. Some of our BCBAs have years of school experience, while others are new to school-based practice. If you don’t have school experience, that’s okay. We provide strong mentorship and support so you feel confident stepping into the role and growing in your practice.
Our most qualified applicants have:
A positive, collaborative mindset
Flexibility in supporting diverse student needs
Strong data collection and analysis skills
Interest in learning or familiarity with special education practices
BCBA certification and a Master's degree
What We Offer:
$60-70/hours (based on experience)
Daytime hours with no weekends or evenings
Ten-month school schedule with paid holidays and breaks
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
Paid time off (PTO)
Quarterly professional development and an annual stipend
A note about our culture
We believe BCBAs do their best work when they feel supported and connected to a team that values their expertise. We’re intentional about creating an environment where that’s possible.
If this sounds like the kind of role you’ve been looking for, we’d really love to hear from you.
